June 21 and 22, 2022, Ludwigsburg

The 2021 conference - a complete success!

With more than 200 participants and ten exhibitors/sponsors, the 9th International Congress on Automotive Wire Harness(digital edition) got off to a successful start on the first day. A good outlook was given at the beginning by Torsten Gollewski from ZF Friedrichshafen live from Hamburg. This was followed by presentations from BMW, TE Connectivity and the University of Kassel. All presentations got a lot of time for a Q&A which was very well received. Many participants liked the newly introduced option of meeting directly with the speaker afterwards for a continuing discussion in the “Speakers Corner” and took advantage of this opportunity well into the lunch break. The moderator, Georg Sterler, led through the congress in a relaxed and, as usual, knowledgeable manner.

Networking, which is always the focus of the Bordnetze congress, also came into its own and was very lively in the virtual lounge, sponsored by TE Connectivity. This is where all participants came together in the evening for a get-together at the end of the first day of the congress. Part of the evening program included the presentation of five different open discussion forums, which were moderated by members of he advisory board and were well received.

On the second day, the well-balanced program continued to impress with contributions from OEM, Tier1 and national as well as international speakers. The audience was presented with both strategic presentations as well as those with great technical depth. The accompanying technical exhibition with virtual booths formed the centerpiece of the online platform – ten companies had participated. We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our sincere thanks to the sponsors and exhibitors who helped us to realize this event at such a high level. As an outlook, it should be said that the anniversary event, the 10th international conference, will take place on June 21 and 22, 2022 in Ludwigsburg. We look forward to welcoming you back on site then.
